Summer is here!!!

I can't believe that it's summer time already and I can't wait for the summer gigs to start. It's always been a busy time of the year for me and this year is no different. So many things to look forward to including Heb Celt, Tiree Music Festival and Belladrum.

This summer I have one solo gig and that is at Speyfest. I've played at this festival twice before but with other bands, and so I can't wait to appear there with my own band.

As always I'm going to make it home to Lewis for Heb Celt and I'm really looking forward to this years festival. I'm playing every day but it is Saturday night I'm looking forward to the most. Runrig are closing the festival that night and I can't wait to hear them live again and to hear the material from their new album!

Skipinnish are going to be very busy and we will be appearing at festivals across the country including a new festival being held in Benbecula (Western Isles) alongside Donnie Munro and Trail West.
